What can I expect inside my kit box?
After you order, you'll receive a box with all the materials needed to complete your very own tote bag & an info card telling you how to sign on for your course. Once you login, you'll find tutorial videos for all the sewing basics & then a step by step video for sewing the tote bag.

I'm Christina!
I'm a Star-Wars obsessed boy mom of 3 who spends a lot of my time in my sewing room!
I am the owner of an etsy shop, Beautiful Chaos Shoppe. I started sewing several years ago, and fell in love! It quickly became something I loved to do to show people I loved them. Making & creating from scratch is now a huge part of my life, and I am so excited to help kids learn how to use their machines!
I own a local brick and mortar shop, where, during the summer, I hosted my first ever sewing workshop for kids. It was SO FUN and really combined my two passions: teaching & sewing! While I would love to host kids' classes & workshops more often, I also know it's not practical while having three of my own kids at home. When kids can do sewing workshops...my kids are often home from school as well.
After people kept saying how much they really wanted their child to learn (after being gifted a sewing machine), I decided teaching online would be a great option! I am so excited to have this option available, and love that your kiddo can have 24-hour access to the course equipment, so even after they're finished, if they need a little refresher, it's there!

Due to the digital nature of Kids Sewing Kit (and the fact that you could consume the entire product in just a few, short hours!) we do not offer refunds for this product.

When does the course take place (date + time)? The course is accessible as soon as you receive your login. You may log in at any date or time & do as many lessons as you'd like at once!
Are there any prerequisites?
Before you start the course, you'll need a sewing machine & a pair of fabric scissors. Don't worry about setting up the machine beforehand, we'll go through that in the course!
Are there any other material or equipment costs besides the enrollment cost of the workshop?
Yes! You'll need fabric scissors & a sewing machine. I will provide materials for the tote bag & some practice fabric. If your child would like to practice more, you will need to provide that. Any 100% cotton fabric will work perfectly.
